Top Changes

What Trim Levels are Available for the 2024 Palisade?

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is available in six trim levels: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy and Calligraphy Night Edition. Every trim level comes standard with front-wheel drive (all-wheel drive is optional). The XRT is the popular trim, but we recommend the SEL.

What is the Interior Like in the 2024 Palisade?

To answer your question in simple terms: stunning! 
The Hyundai Palisade is a very accommodating SUV, with a spacious second row and enough room in the third row for adults or tall teens. A three-person bench seat is standard in the second row of the base SE trim, while the Palisade SEL offers optional captain's chairs. Upper trims come with captain's chairs only. Legroom is generous, and the captain's chairs provide heated and cooled seats. A power-folding mechanism is also available for both rows, which is a very convenient feature.

At the SEL level, cabin finishes include soft-touch padded surfaces and leather. Step up to the Limited trim, and the Palisade looks and feels even more luxurious.

With numerous small-storage bins and a large console between the front seats, there's always a convenient place to stash cell phones and personal items. With both back rows folded, the Palisade has a class-competitive 86 cubic feet of cargo space. Fold only the third-row seat to open up more than 45 cubic feet for stowing athletic equipment and baby gear. With the third row in place, there's still 18 cubic feet available, which is average for the class.

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade offers one of the most user-friendly infotainment systems in the midsize SUV class. A large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation is standard. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can connect multiple devices via Bluetooth and are helped by a new Wi-Fi hotspot. Overall usability is excellent, with the ability to display multiple functions on the single screen. Physical buttons provide shortcuts to main functions, making it easy to operate while driving.

How does the 2024 Palisade Handle on the Road?
What the Palisade lacks in all-out performance it more than makes up for with a competent and well-rounded skill set. Accelerating from a standstill to 60 mph takes 7.6 seconds, which is an average time for a three-row SUV. High-speed passing can be done with confidence. In our emergency braking tests, the Palisade demonstrated strong and predictable braking. In more routine driving, the brake pedal is easy to control for smooth stops.

Furthermore, the Hyundai Palisade rarely feels sloppy or out of sorts as you drive around turns. Thanks in part to a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic, the Palisade is a stress-free companion in both city and highway driving.

What Safety Features are Available 
in the 2024 Palisade?

All Palisade trim levels include forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, a driver-drowsiness alert, and a rear-occupant alert. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and safe exit assist (which sounds an alert and prevents passengers from opening a door into oncoming traffic) are also standard. When equipped with Highway Driving Assist, the Palisade works in conjunction with the adaptive cruise control to keep the vehicle centered in its lane (although the driver must keep a hand on the wheel). In our experience, it worked extremely well, with minimal bouncing between lanes when the road is relatively straight.
