The Revamped 2018 Hyundai Accent Offers New Standard Features

Drivers have come to depend on Hyundai for comfortable, reliable, innovative vehicles that offer style, substance, and value. That's why the Hyundai Accent has been such a popular subcompact with drivers for many years. Recently, at the Canadian International Auto Show, Hyundai debuted an exciting new redesigned 2018 Hyundai Accent that will give enthusiasts a lot of new reasons to love the Accent. The 2018 Accent will make a statement on the road with a bold new look that includes a new grille, headlights, and wraparound taillights; these features are all similar to other recently redesigned Hyundai models such as the Elantra GT, and the Accent fits perfectly into the lineup. The improved Accent is slightly wider than models past which offers passengers more space to stretch out and get comfortable.

New technology features further update the Accent, including a standard backup camera, an available 7-inch touchscreen display with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and advanced safety features such as an available autonomous emergency braking system. Sport driving mode is available on automatic-transmission models, as are keyless entry and push-button start. The revamped 2018 Accent also features a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 132-horsepower and 119 pound-foot of torque, with an predicted increase in fuel economy over its predecessor of seven percent. There are even more improvements and offerings available on the new Accent, and we look forward to introducing it to you when it arrives at dealer showrooms later this year; make sure to check back frequently for updates on its arrival.
